Graduated from Texas A&M - Commerce.  Commerce, TX with a Doctor of Education degree in Secondary and Higher Education, Instruction, Curriculum and Supervision - 2003 .

Spent 20 years in the U.S. Army rising in rank from 2nd Lieutenant to Lieutenant Colonel and serving in various leadership and scientific/technical positions

Served in Europe, Japan, Vietnam and various locations in the United States

Spent 8 years in corporate America in the Washington D.C. area serving as a systems analyst with various customers

Spent 9 years full time in education, as a community college instructor

Spent 5 years as an Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Teacher Education at both Texas College and the University of Texas at Tyler

Currently serving as an adjunct instructor at Technical College of the LowCountry and the University of South Carolina, Beaufort - working at both schools' south campuses in the Bluffton area.
